We braved the seas and overcast skies and headed out to George’s Island in Boston Harbor. Students visited Fort Warren and explored the former Civil War fort. They enjoyed dark tunnels, historical stories and a relaxing day!

The fifth grade traveled back in time to the Civil War and enjoyed breakfast on Friday. Students became characters from the historical fiction books they had been reading. These characters interacted while enjoying some tasty vittles!

We bid one of our classmates farewell today…here are two class photos that we took after our first end of the year celebration:
