Your teachers would like to thank you for a wonderful year. We especially enjoyed the last day surprise party that you organized for us. We were touched by all of the hard work and planning you put into that day. We also loved reading the thoughtful comments added to the blog. You all certainly have some great advice for the upcoming 5th graders. We look forward to a summer filled with fun, learning and of course, blogging! Blog on! We can’t wait to hear what adventures you are all up to over the summer, so stay in touch!

    hi everyone
I am sorry I have not been blogging but I have been so busy!!! On Saturday I had a swim meet and I swam the 200 free and 200 IM (50 butterfly, 50 Backstroke, 50 breaststroke, and 50 Freestyle all that makes the 200 IM) and in both events I dropped about 10 seconds!!! I was seated about 30th for both events because this is my second meet that I am 11-12 age group instead of 9-10. It is a lot harder to swim with older kids!!!
You all know who it is from but anyway,

Congratulations! Dropping 10 seconds is a huge gain, and in a new age group, that is impressive.

Your teachers have been busy listening to a visiting author talk to us about teaching reading. We also enjoyed the nice weather over the weekend. Our boys got to go to a party at their daycare center. They had a bouncy house, obstacle course and face painting! They even had some cake! We were at school today continuing to organize and clean up the room.

Can’t wait to hear more about what all of you are doing. Thanks for blogging! We love hearing about what you are up to! :)

Last night, i swam for 2 hours at the Jenny Thompson pool in Dover. That pool is 50 meters long instead of 25 yards so really it is wicked long pool that takes me 35 seconds to swim across instead of 29 seconds!!! I loved swimming in the pool though!!! There was only a couple people there so it was almost like a private practice. See you at the beach, well maybe not today!!!
