Expect the unexpected. Mrs. Schmidt and Mrs. Wyman are really fun and enjoy joking around with the students. The first time you have math in the afternoon, raise your hand and just say: Is the pizza finally ready? The teachers will know what you mean.

I don't know what just happened, so sorry if this is posted twice...my advice to the new 5th graders is to have fun!! You'll never going to get through 5th grade if you don't have fun. Everything you do in 5th grade is awesome--so enjoy it! It may seem overwhelming to have letter grades and project after project but if you think of it as fun, it will be. More advice would be to listen well, ask questions, be thoughtful, don't speak when it's not your turn, and, again, have FUN!!! Good luck to all of the soon-to-be-5th graders! :)

Don't be nervous with the teachers or anything! They are so nice and kind and welcome you into 5th grade like you are there long lost friends! You will get to know them by he second day of school and you also do a ton of fun things- especially during he first few weeks of 5th grade. You don't get as much home work at the beginning of the year than in the middle. Although at the end of the year again the teachers try to lower the homework for the end of the year too. Plus you would think there would be a lot of tests, but really there aren't many, just a few mostly during the middle of the year. There is plenty of time to prepare for it, so you should be ready for them! They ease you into all of these things so plenty fun is tied into these so you can get the hang of it! You'll love 5th grade ad every thing about it!

If I had to give some advice for the new coming 5th graders I would say HAVE FUN, which you will because there are multiple fun projects in 5th grade! But I can't tell you any of the projects because I would ruined the surprise. All you really need to do or be in 5th grade is be positive because when you are positive it reflects on other people, and also help you learn more! Those are some tips you should use in 5th grade.

Dear new 5th graders,
I a going to give you new 5th graders some advice for this year

1. Always remember to not give your teacher a hard time.

2. DO YOUR HOMEWORK. When you don't do your homework you will get a lot of stuff wrong in school because you pretty much do the homework in school.

3. Do your school work so you can pass it in when it is do.

4. Don't ever give up on something because your teacher will tell you that you can do it and then you probably can do it.

5. HAVE FUN!!!!!! This year will the best year ever... It was for me.

Some really good advice I would give to future 5th graders is make sure you stay organized. Organize yourself, your time, your materials and your life between school and home. And also, don't forget to have fun. School is supposed to be educational, but also fun, not torture, so make the most of it. You only are in the grade that you are in once, so don't forget to have fun. I think that you should enjoy every minute of life. Love, laugh, eat! Make sure that you listen to your teachers also. That is a lesson you will learn. Have fun and I hope you like fifth grade.

You really need to pay attention to what's going on or else you have now Idea of what's going on. So you pretty much behind. I recommend taking french horn lessons it really helps you get your mind off of things. French horn may be the hardest instrument but trust me, It's worth it.

My advice to you would be to do your best. I know that sometimes you just want to give up but you just need to think about finishing the project and getting your grade sheet back. I know that every time I really wanted to stop working i still went the extra mile because i wanted the end product to come out just like I pictured it too. Everything that I did was worth it, so let lose and step onto the boat because you are ready to sail into 5th grade.

The best advice I can come up with is put your homework in your bag before you go to bed. So you don't have to redo it at recess. Also your teachers won't be to happy.

Any advice that I could give a future 5th grader is to enjoy what you learn because 5th grade is a blast! You get to learn about so much in several subjects ... as well as so much about each other. 5th grade has been a learning experience. 5SW will never be the same without each kid and teacher! Good Luck! ( even though you won't need it:) )
